Never pay up front for materials or labour, unless you’re buying the materials for the job yourself from a supplier. Always ask the tradesmen for at least 3 people (names and telephone numbers) who have used his or their services before and check them out before agreeing to any work. Always ask for a quote ever an estimate, a quote is what the final price should be, an estimate is somewhere over there.
